Her digital collage pieces are characterised by the playful layering of photographic elements, creating a bright, bold and sometimes unsettling alternative reality. Sarah's work invites the viewer to explore and question the narrative in focus, holding a magnifying glass on to modern British Society.
The dreamlike quality of her work creates a balance between the real and the surreal, transporting us to different, times and places. A step through the looking glass.
Using a combination of photography, digital art, paint, inks, paper collage and AI technology, she layers together tableaux designed to take the viewer on a journey into the unknown.
