Liz Mundle's work explores the ever changing natural environment. By using a variety of techniques and materials she focuses on different aspects of the natural world. Ambiguous forms invite the viewer into a fragile, mysterious world which is under threat. Mundle's recent series of prints, shown here for the first time, are the accumulation of months of work exploring her immediate environment. Mundle does not use any chemicals but relies on natural materials to express what nature wants us to see. Not one piece of work can ever be repeated. Mundle graduated from the RCA many moons ago and is a retired Art History Professor. She has exhibited widely since 2008 - highlights include Discerning Eye, The London Group Open, The Pastel Society, The National Original Print Exhibitions and National Open Art. She regularly exhibits with the Richmond Art Society.
