Tandorn Prakobpol explores the connection between nature and the urban environment through his artwork. He uses digital media, photographs, and digital drawings that he collects during his travels and daily experiences. Each piece holds a personal memory of the moment it was created. With a playful approach, he carefully selects and arranges each element to form a detailed drawing of an imaginary landscape that blurs the line between reality and imagination. His works are a collection of his memories and experiences transformed into surreal, non-existent places. Originally from Bangkok, Prakobpol now lives in London and obtained a MArch in architecture from The Bartlett School of Architecture in 2010. His interest in architectural drawing and illustration led him to pursue art, where he can further explore his ideas about the urban environment. Prakobpol's recent work, "The Outsider 1 and 2," was featured at Bangkok Design Week 2023. These imaginative landscape drawings were created to raise questions about the absence of nature in our lives and its place in our cities.
