Fumio Yamaguchi’s works explore the imprint of the nature spirit in the tree and forest. And his artistic practice is underpinned by his photo works. He uses a computer to make collage images which are his memory and reflection of his inner world. And he makes the lithography work by processing the collage images. His series of lithography works, Tree and Forest, is the artwork combined with recent digital and traditional print technology. His works have a Japanese atmosphere coming from the background of them using Japanese handcraft paper dyed by natural plants. His works are implied to study forest ecology in the university and graduate school. His works were selected in many prints competitions, National Original Print Exhibition, Rene Carcan Award(the first prize), Okanagan Print Triennial, held some public collections including Museo　Do Douro(Portugal), King Bandotium Foundation(Belgium), Foundation Kuhare Gialog Armenien(Armenia).
