Zinta Jaunitis

£0.00
Zinta is a London based artist exploring the intersection of observation and imagination through drawing and printmaking. Often using the figure, she is guided by the physicality of her materials, and the expressive marks they make and leave behind. She uses layering as a way of bringing chance into her work, allowing for unexpected narratives, emotions and memories to emerge. Her work draws upon a wide scope of literary and art history references, igniting a series of lyrical and intuitive responses that enrich her work. Zinta has an MA in Illustration from Camberwell College of Art, a MA in Visual Culture, and a BA in Graphic Design. She has exhibited in a number of local shows, and is part of the ‘Monday Night’ collective, a group of international artists making zines about stories and narratives.
