Jeannie Taylor’s work focuses on mental health and addiction issues particularly those affecting young adults in our society. Taylor hopes that her current work will help to convey a better understanding of the torment, isolation and despair of those affected. She combines etching,drypoint, aquatint and woodcut with a mixture of relief printing techniques to create variable editions and monoprints. Taylor graduated from Sheffield College of Art with a BA in 3D Design. She lived in the island of Barbados for many years where her work was widely exhibited overseas(UK,USA) as well as in the Caribbean. The dazzling light and vibrant colours of the Caribbean continue to influence her work. Jeannie has exhibited her work at Bankside 2016, Heatherley's Cheyne Walk Trust 2017 Inspired By the V&A, Morley College 2018 Chelsea Arts Society 2018,2019,2022,2023 Julian Barrow Award 2022 Woolwich 2022
