Daisy Jarrett was born and raised in Brixton, South London.
Daisy works across media but has always loved the tactile, painterly nature of Monoprinting. Her work is first and foremost about women and the female experience, she is interested in themes of the domestic, social media, body image and the everyday. She is interested in how social media can affect body image in both a negative and positive way with many of her subjects found on Instagram.
Daisy Graduated from the University of Brighton in 2011 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Printmaking and then went on to complete a MA in Fine Art Printmaking at the Royal College of Art, graduating in 2013
She has previously exhibited at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2018 and 2021 where she won the Slaughterhouse printmaking prize. Daisy has 9 pieces in the Soho house collection and in many private collections across the UK, Europe and USA and will be exhibiting at Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2023.
