INSURANCE & SECURITY

PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THIS INFORMATION TO AVOID ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO YOUR ARTWORK.

  • The venue will be patrolled by security guards 24 hours a day. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken to ensure the safety and security of stands, the organisers cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage, which may occur. Please do not leave valuable equipment on your stand whilst unattended. It is incumbent upon you to ensure that the cover arranged is adequate for your purposes and if any additional cover is required.

  • The prints remain at all times the liability of the artist. Prints selected for exhibition will only be covered by the Fair’s insurance once they arrive at the venue and throughout the duration of the exhibition until Monday 07 November at 17.00.

Outside of these dates, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair will not be held accountable for the work. You may therefore wish to insure your work against loss or damage while it is in transit. The only exception is for works that have arrived via WCPF’s Framing Service or the EBISS drop off service, which are covered once they have arrived at the facilities.

  • Each gallery is required to have insurance cover in force, and provide evidence of this at least six weeks prior to the event to the WCPF team. As a minimum, your policy must cover:

    • Public Liability (Compulsory Cover)

    • £2 million limit of indemnity

    • Property Damage (Optional Cover)

Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken, the organisers of Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair cannot accept responsibility for damage to stands or loss of any property on any stand or anywhere else in the event, or in any course of its delivery or removal from the building from any cause whatsoever. The organisers are not responsible for any loss sustained by exhibitors from fire, theft, and damage or for personal injury or loss to or by any person employed by the exhibitor or third parties.
