My practice is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-sabi, of embracing imperfections and accepting the transient nature of life. I draw inspiration from my environment and climate change, looking at graffiti and billboard posters that have been destructively torn away by wind, rain and heat. I find beauty in this partial destruction and decay of material over time. This is something that fascinates me and aim to evoke and embed within my work.

I like to employ and combine a wealth of print processes, layering and fragmenting image and materials, from screen print, etching and digital processes art processes to non-art materials such as recycled material of paper and wood. Through this combination I am able to explore ideas of environmental pollution and sustainability and our need to work with natural materials to consider the future of our planet
