Rod Nelson is a woodblock printmaker based in the UK.  He is particularly interested in working to show the energy of water and the way that light falls on water. His work has been exhibited in major exhibitions in London, including at the Royal Academy, in Bristol at the Royal West of England Academy, in New York at the NY International Print Centre, in Shanghai, Kunming and in other places. He is co-author of two published books on woodblock print and also likes to teach. In 2022 he was elected an associate member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers.
