Annabel Crowther's work explores the modern muse through continuous line of the nude figure. Originally an observation of the female form, years of life drawing have informed the character of her prints. The overlapping composition of her line-drawn silhouettes offers Annabel's nude prints an illustrative quality; incorporating intaglio printmaking with chine colle and stencil techniques. Previously taken part in the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fairs 2021 and 2022 - at which her 'Dancing Daydreamer' prints were selected as in the Collectors' as well as Curator's Picks at both shows - Annabel's work was selected and exhibited in this summer's RA Summer Exhibition 2023.
