Nina works across drawing, printmaking, animation, writing and installation to consider the traces we leave behind. Contemplative and self-reflective, her imagery evokes a quiet sense of lack and longing. Drawn to time-intensive processes and sustained acts of care, Nina balances intuitive expression with more controlled and intricate detail. This sensitivity extends to her printmaking, where she combines layering and ghost impressions to construct humble domestic narratives. Nina’s recent series of prints experiment with new lithographic printmaking techniques on lino, working from Edvard Munch’s The Sick Child, and continuing her explorations of the family home, and the memories and ruminations embedded within them. Nina’s work has been exhibited since 2020, including in the Trinity Buoy Wharf Working Drawing Prize and Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair.
