Daisy Jarrett was born and raised in south London and currently lives between London and Folkestone. Daisy teaches printmaking at an adult education community college in Richmond. Daisy works across media but has always loved the tactile, painterly nature of mono printing. Her work is first and foremost about women and the female experience. Daisy works in a quick and expressive way, painting with watercolours and drawing directly onto a silkscreen with a colourful palette and pulled through once to create dreamlike, often humorous portraits of women which are all unique. Daisy Graduated from the University of Brighton in 2011 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Printmaking and then went on to complete a MA in Fine Art Printmaking at the Royal College of Art, graduating in 2013. She has previously exhibited at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2018, 2021 and 2023, In 2021 she won the Slaughterhouse printmaking prize. Daisy has 9 pieces in the Soho house collection and in many private collections across the UK, Europe and USA and has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2023.
