Nicole Rose’s work explores the emotional response to the natural world around her.
Alongside making abstract landscape oil paintings, Nicole reworks and reimagines photographed sections of her paintings digitally to create new alternative landscapes, derived from but different to the paintings - a fresh response to the original landscape in their own right - creating limited-edition giclée prints.
Nicole is a regular exhibitor at The Other Art Fair in London. Her print COALESCENCE is shortlisted for the Boodle Hatfield Print Prize following the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, 2021.
