Limi Xiao’s work explores the power of narrative to illuminate quiet, intimate moments in everyday life. Through printmaking, particularly drypoint, she reflects on themes of human connection, childhood memory, and the natural world. The submitted series of prints captures small, poetic gestures often overlooked: a pause, a pattern, a shift in light. Using drypoint’s soft lines and textural depth, Limi invites the viewer into a world that is both personal and quietly universal. Limi graduated with a BA in Illustration from Winchester School of Art in 2023 and is currently studying MA Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts. Her tactile, narrative illustrations span media including ceramics, fabric, and printmaking, blending emotional resonance with material exploration. She has exhibited in group shows in London and Winchester. And her tactile illustrations were shown at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
