Sophia O'Sullivan

Sophia O’Sullivan is a visual artist and printmaker from wicklow, based in Dublin. Graduating from NCAD in 2019, she is now a full time member of Graphic Studio Dublin. With printmaking at the core of her practice, her work explores the dynamic interplay between bold zones of colour, crisp edges and distinct boundaries. Her approach is anthropological, drawing inspiration from the unconscious, intuition and the innate tendancies and behaviours of human nature. As her practice evolves over time, she invites the viewer to engage with her abstract expressions and reflect in the emotional depth and intensity that arises from them.
