Using ingenuity within the printmaking processes, his practice attempts to convey an ambiguity of space, place, and time whilst questioning our perceptions of the ever-evolving landscape. With an understanding of Psycho-geography and the theories of place and non-place, he looks to interpret a sense of biophilia and technophilia, drawing connections between the landscape, its impact on our senses, and awareness of placelessness and wanderlust that can be felt.
By immersing himself within the landscape and its ambiance whilst traveling; seeking architectural perspectives, witnessing chance happenings, and working from distorted and redacted memories, he fabricates an atmospheric and transient aesthetic in reinvented visions he calls ‘memory scapes’.
