Gail Brodholt is a painter and printmaker of the contemporary urban landscape. Her work depicts the London transport network and the journeys made across the city on tubes, trains and in the car: the unconsidered backdrop to our daily lives. She trained at the School of Fine Art, Kingston University. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) and currently holds the post of Honorary Curator. Gail is the recipient of many awards and prizes including the Birgit Skiold Award and the Paintings in Hospitals prize. She is based in Woolwich, South London.
