Elisa Dublanc, artist and designer, (born 1986 in Argentina) is currently pursuing her Print MA 2023-'24 at RCA. Dublanc’s work explores the relationship between human beings and nature. She is currently developing a body of work titled “Transformation”. Her practice delves into and emphasises the symbiosis between humankind and the environment, as well as highlighting how humans have radically changed their relationship with nature from one of equality and dialogue to one of dominance and control, immersed and brainwashed by the helpless and static collective experience. Dublanc focuses on the individual and collectivised experience on our ongoing inner transformations. Her artistic practice manifests through multiple media, favouring work with noble and ecologically conscious materials.
Elisa Dublanc graduated with a MA in Design with a specialisation in Graphic Design with honours from Diego Portales University, Santiago, Chile 2010. She has also attended Experimental Drawing and Printmaking courses at University College of London and Central Saint Martins as well as Etching and Screenprint courses at Bainbridge Print Studios. She has almost two decades of experience in editorial projects, textile prints, photography, illustration, and brand identity, favouring working with ecologically conscious organizations and artists. Dublanc develops her professional practice with a strong concern for contributing to social and natural well-being. Elisa has genuine interest in urban conformation, nature, and heritage as a cultural expression with a democratic vision, highlighting the social problems of the bond between human beings and their environment.
