Exploring the relationship between land water and sky, Catherine's work forms an emotional response to the landscape.
This etching was created after a retreat with the Wilderness Art Collective in Scotland seeking the the glow of the Northern Lights on the Isle of Skye. As a member of the Wilderness Art Collective her work aims to promote discussion of the natural world, climate change and the way humans exist as part of nature.

Catherine lives in West Sussex and teaches etching in London & Brighton. This year she has travelled to participate in Printmaking residencies at Academy of Visual Arts Ghent, Belgium and 'Start the Press' at the Ikon Gallery Birmingham.
Catherine's artistic practice follows a pattern of travelling, walking, drawing and making etchings and monotypes from these drawings.
