About Us:

Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair is a prestigious art event showcasing the best of contemporary printmaking. We pride ourselves on fostering a vibrant and engaging environment for art enthusiasts, collectors, and artists alike.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and driven sales team member to join us during the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair. As a key member of our team, you will engage with attendees, provide information about the artworks on display, and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the dynamic world of contemporary printmaking and contribute to the success of our event.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with attendees and art enthusiasts to provide information about the artworks on display.

• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to guide visitors in making informed purchasing decisions.

• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients.

• Process sales transactions using our sales platform SQUARE.

• Advise customers on the benefits of Own Art.

• Assist in setting up, labeling, packaging, and organizing artwork.

• Participate in various shifts, including VIP/PV events, New Collectors’ evening, and day-to-day exhibition hours.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth event operations.

• Wrap and package artwork for delivery.

• Welcome guests and check tickets.

• Answering online enquiries from Artsy and our Online Edition

Requirements:

• Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus.

• A keen interest in art, especially contemporary printmaking.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to work different shifts and potentially additional days.

• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for engaging with diverse audiences.

• Friendly and professional attitude.

Event Schedule:

• November 19th: Training and Labeling - 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM (5 hours)

• November 20th: VIP/PV Event - 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM (8.5 hours)

• November 21st: Day Shift -  11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (6 hours)

• November 21st: New Collectors Session - 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (3 hours)

• November 22nd: Day Shift -  11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (6 hours)

• November 22nd: New Event Session - 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (3 hours)

• November 23rd: Day Shift -  11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (6 hours)

• November 24th: Day Shift -  11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (6 hours)

• November 24th: Evening Pack Down - 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (3 hours)

• November 25th: Wrapping and packing for deliveries and storage - 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (7 hours)
