FORMULATING NEW APPROACHES TO CONTEMPORARY PRINT

Each year, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair offers our international open call applicants the opportunity to present proposed or existing ambitious, large-scale print-based installations that push the possibilities of printmaking, challenges preconceptions of what a print is, and discovers new innovative approaches to print display and exhibition.

The chosen installation artworks from this year’s open call will be displayed as part of our brand new 2024 Public Art Trail.

ABOUT THE PUBLIC ART TRAIL

Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair continues to push the boundaries of contemporary print and be a platform to showcase innovations in the medium.

We are working with local landlords and partners to take the Fair beyond the walls of the 4-day November event to operate a free public art initiative across the locale with large-scale, immersive and sculptural installations taking centre stage.

Each work will still have a core remit of contemporary original print.

To apply for the public art trail, simply submit your application to our international artist Open Call. You can apply with proposed or existing installation-based artworks.
