Tracey Bush is a Londoner who now lives on the South Coast of England.
Tracey began her career as a professional illustrator, but after obtaining an MA in Fine Art Printmaking, she began to make artist’s books and prints. For many years Tracey made scrapbooks as a way of ordering collections of paper ephemera, but these emerged as Lepidoptera, collections of butterflies and moths handcut from found papers and then pinned out in entomology boxes. Tracey's delicate and subtle plant studies, artist's books, prints and cut-paper pieces reference traditions of Natural History collecting. Collage drawings have been acquired by the Yale Centre for British Art, CT, USA for their permanent collection, as well as by numerous private collections. Most recently, her work was included in the survey exhibition 'Flowers Forever' at the Kunsthalle Munich.
