I’m a white middle-aged man who lives in an English suburban street. I have 2 teenage children whose schools are over-stretched. I’m an ex-employer whose ex-staff no longer call him for advice. I have lots of anecdotes which no one asks to hear. I worked with lots of famous people but have none of them on speed-dial. I am confused by my diminishing status, shifting sexuality, and increasing obsolescence.
I. am. an. artist. or maybe just trying to recreate my youth. Hello, nice to meet you. You may not have noticed me before. I like colour and have a better memory for places than people. I don’t like being seen, saying the wrong thing, and social media. I worry about politics, the environment, and money.
