After leaving the RCA many years ago I’ve spent most of my time painting until I rediscovered printmaking. Now I am a printer.
My prints mix a personal iconography with imagery borrowed from other artists. They grow from my freewheeling drawings and then follow their own adventures. Because I enjoy playing and pushing my etchings and linoprints, exploring colours, stencils, overprinting and ghostprinting I can only make variable editions.
Despite their frivolous jokey appearance I like to think of my work as having a serious side , maybe a seriouslyfunny side.
