Nicola Wallis is an artist based in Wiltshire, originally from Darlington. In 2012, Nicola completed a Master's in Fine Art at the Slade School of Art, UCL, with a bursary from the Arts and Humanities Research Council. Following her time at the Slade, Nicola was awarded the Adrian Carruthers Prize, which included a free studio for one year, a cash bursary, and mentoring.
Recently, Nicola has embarked upon a series of highly detailed and intricate large-scale linocuts which, focus on pattern, shape, and movement.
