Ros Ford is a painter and printmaker based in Bristol. She is inspired by the unordered, the overlooked and the sideshows of life. Her work is mostly about functional structures and buildings that are often unnoticed.

Her prints are often based on urban landscapes close to her home and studio as well as overseas. She makes drawings and photographs on location which she develops into series of prints and paintings. The intaglio prints submitted for Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2024 are of the working boats and Winter light of Venice. They are part of a series made as a result of a visiting artist RE fellowship at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica, Venice.

She is an elected Academician of the Royal West of England Academy, Bristol (RWA) and an elected fellow of the Royal Society of Printmakers (RE). She exhibits regularly, including at the RWA,  Bankside Gallery, London and the RA Summer Exhibition. She has won national prizes and awards for her work. Her prints and paintings are exhibited and held in public and private collections both in the UK and internationally.
