Brigitte Parusel’s abstract artwork is inspired by the geometric principles found in nature. She is fascinated by how nature constructs complex structures and creates an endless variety of forms.

Her screen prints, drawings, and sculptures are an ongoing exploration of these hidden principles. She aims to convey a sense of connectedness and capture nature's order and beauty.

In Parusel's work, screen prints are raw material that she transforms into complex 3D forms through folding and manipulation.

The submitted works from her series "Because everything is connected" are double-sided screen prints that explore the creation of shape through movement. The geometric grid that underpins the pattern is printed on the reverse side. It becomes visible when the paper is folded and reveals the interplay between structure and form.

In 2011, she completed an MA in Fine Art at Wimbledon College of Arts.

Her work has been exhibited in independent and larger mixed exhibitions, including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, London Group Open and Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair. Her work is held in private collections nationally and internationally.
