Ana Ogunsanya is a multidisciplinary artist whose work aims to express and explore her Nigerian heritage, British culture and diasporic identity.

Ana's artistic practice lies at the crossroads of Art and Craft. Initially trained as a fashion and textile designer, with years of experience in design and product development, Ana embarked on a journey to delve into Art whilst working with various mediums since 2020.

"Untitled," is a series of hand screen-printed textiles inspired by West African fabrics. Ana's method involves collaging traditional textiles and transforming them into abstract screen prints. Through her artistic endeavors, she seeks to articulate her narrative by melding representation and abstraction, forging connections between her two cultural backgrounds and delving into the complexities of identity, heritage, and belonging.
