In Hamid's work, she documents human activity in the spaces they occupy. She is interested in the mystery, drama, intimacy and nostalgia that comes along with certain spaces that offer a nuanced view of the human experience. Hamid begins the work by creating digital sketches from photographs and intuitively allows the lines and forms to guide her composition.
