Returning to art school after a long career in advertising, Axel Chaldecott has rediscovered the joy of printmaking, particularly the alchemy of etching. Whether working with traditional print making techniques like silkscreen and etching or exploring the possibilities of photopolymer liquid resist and solar plate etching, in each print Axel creates, he strives to draw the viewer in by evoking a sense of connection and resonance.
