Sanne Glasbergen | CHAOS 175mg, 2024
Screenprint
Media Dimensions: 42 x 59.4 cm
Image Dimensions: 39 x 55.2 cm
Edition of 9
Framed/unframed
Originally trained as a photographer, Sanne Glasbergen (Royal Academy of Art, NL alumni) has explored the translation of emotional rollercoasters onto paper without using a camera. Being a fly on the wall by nature, she emphasises on what's being the ego of her subject. Her first ever series of screen prints onto paper has resulted in the limited edition and intuitive series "CHAOS". It is where grief, confusion and pain unapologetically see the light of day, find their ways and shapes, in order to self express and cope. A selection of institutions where Sanne's work has been exhibited are Somerset House, EYE Amsterdam, Dutch Photo Museum.
