She is a Brazilian architect and artist currently residing in London. Previously associated with C.F.Møller, a Scandinavian architectural firm established by the modernist Christian Frederik Møller, she spearheaded a team that conceived an innovative complex of NHS mental health hospitals, encompassing the design of Forensic Psychiatric Unit, Eating Disorders, OCD, Adult Deaf, Older Age, and Children inpatient facilities. Transitioning to her personal studio, she explores experimental photography and new media, drawing from cultural diversity and history to translate the essence of minimalist design into artistic expressions. Her work integrates architectural precision with a touch of surrealism, delving into inquiries about the deceptive nature of the mind and capturing visually inconspicuous elements that evoke discomfort. Her current artistic pursuit revolves around probing the relationship between humanity and nature, influenced by her Taiwanese heritage. It seeks to question the impact of our cultural legacy in controlling nature, as manifested through attempts to dominate and replicate its beauty, utilising digitally manipulated nature photographs to depict the disquiet stemming from the dichotomy between human influence and the natural world.
