“I was honored to be a part of the WCPF experience that allowed me to display my work on the international platform along with other printmakers from all over the world. I was selected to represent myself as an African American printmaker who lives in the South and share with the world how I view the world to create imagery that is important to me. My work was well received and was recognized for: The Jealous Printmaking Award and selected by Panellist Picks Catherine Daunt and Dario Illari. The application process was clear and the team was very responsive before and after the Fair was over. I am excited to attend one day in person and look forward to the professional development workshops in the future.”

“The opportunity of being a part of the international printmaking community and reaching a larger audience with a greater knowledge of printmaking process and complexity, were the driving factors behind my application in 2022. The Curated Hang certainly delivered. Even though I was unable to be at the Fair, being Cape Town (South Africa) based, I connected and engaged with fellow artists, collectors, and curators. I am already lined up for the WCPF Open Call 2023, and I’m hoping to be there in person this time around, to meet more people who love printmaking.”

I think it’s really worthwhile to apply and exciting to get your works installed and seen in such a great venue. it’s one of the most exciting print events of the year with very few size or theme constraints allowing artists to show their latest most exciting works… I would definitely recommend it to other international artists - the social media is great and I find I make contacts even though I often can’t be there in person.“
