Art Hub Studios CIC is a non-profit Community Interest Company. They have been based in South East London for 25 years and are dedicated to supporting artists at all stages of their career. Through their studios, facilities, gallery and outreach programme their aim is to promote the positive impact of art on children, in education and wellbeing in adulthood. For their prize they are offering a 1 month residency at Art Hub Studios Woolwich printmaking studio.

  • Yuchen Bian

    Yuchen Bian won the ArtHub Studios Prize in 2024. Yuchen Bian is a female artist who originates from Wuhan, China, and is currently living and working in London.

    Through her work, she tells small but sparkling stories of life. She works around memory, time, and nature. These elements are not just themes in her work, they are reflections of her own life, her dreams, and her contemplations.

    Yuchen likes to use different techniques, but she has a preference for touchable mediums as a way to physically connect with her work. Her use of printmaking techniques gives her work rich textures and layers, combining vibrant colors with traditional printmaking methods in a unique style.
